I am having such a good time playing this game. I bought the 08 males 3 up file, and ran the triple crown along with some warm up races, and Big Brown went 5-0 with wins in the Derby and Preakness before finally loosing too much energy in the Belmont finishing 3rd 20 lengths behind the leaders. Love the realism.
This got me thinkin though about how i like to watch races at certain parks more than others, so i was just wondering if there is plans to eventually release horse files for individual meets at individual tracks. I think this would be awesome. I would love to play race maker for a whole meet, trying to create stakes winning horses outta relative "real" no/lesser names horses.
I'm not sure what all goes into creating individual horses, but i would think there would be a way to make like 10 template horses, and just do little tweaks to each horse. Being right on with the horse ranking is not real important, because i would think most folks wouldnt know many of the horses, but that would be the fun part, creating the star horses outta a bunch of no name horses.

I agree that is a lot of fun. The team has not released yet what features are in the trainer game. But in past versions you have had the ability to create your own horses and even races cards. I nerdily had every overnight stakes race in NY/NJ and PA created. I created over 1000 allowance and condition races and had over 2000 real horses.
The game has evolved since the old version but I am sure some really cool things will be available and the game will only get better going forward. But until the team releases there plans there is a lot exciting things to explore including online tournaments and pitting the real horses against each other in exciting races.
Dede, I also did something like that. I had every overnight from Calder and Gulfstream. I also created a lot of real horses and tweaked with them to make them they way they ran in real life. I hope the trainer game is just as good if not better then the old one.
