We have begun the transition to the new trainer tournament classification system. If you're not familiar with the changes that are about to occur, I suggest you read my previous blog .
The transition will be a little cumbersome for a week or so and for the next week will affect the number of available trainer tournaments. We are no longer publishing small general trainer tournaments starting this week. If you requested a small (under 7,500 community points) general trainer tournament, your request will be denied and your points for requesting the tournament will be returned. This will happen Monday and Tuesday. If your requested tournament has a 'no race entry fee' or has only one race and a final, it will also be canceled. The Request Tournament page will be changed on Monday and will only allow tournaments with an entry fee of at least 7,500 community points, either step-up or flat-fee preliminary races, and at least three races and a Breeders' Cup final.
In addition, next Wednesday or Thursday we will be publishing over 100 red and blue restricted tournaments under the guidelines described in my previous blog. There may be some slight modifications, but for the most part, what's in the blog is what you can expect. The new automated program that publishes red and blue restricted trainer tournaments will be turned on this coming week.
I'll be publishing approximately 40 to 50 general trainer tournaments this weekend (most of which have been requested and approved and meet our go-forward guidelines). In addition to those, I'll be publishing some other special tournaments for our top horses.
If you have in your barn horses specifically for red and blue restricted tournaments, you will have to bear with us four or five more days. At that point, you'll have all the blue and red restricted tournaments you can ever imagine.
With the anticipated release of the new red and blue restricted tournaments in an automated format, we have cut down about 30% of the insta-tournaments. Most of the ones cut back were repetitive and we're hoping to consolidate fields for bigger community point payouts.
Just a few other notes. This classification program distracted us from launching several other features, but we felt the need for the classification program was a priority. I will be providing a full update next week on all the other features and several game and community announcements.

Good Job
Great job Mike. I can't wait. This game keeps getting better and better.
Frelance
I can say.....
I like this alot, finally people who cant afford to keep up with the rich people of the world have a chance to atleast have some fun lol
What a great improvement
Let me tell ya, Mike, I like these new blue restricted tournaments. I'll probbaly say the same about the red, but haven't tried the red restricted yet.
My win % has improved vastly over general tournaments. Seems more fair to me. I don't have to worry about the monsters. LOL Can't wait for more blues and reds.
The Masses Are Chanting ??
This community demands that newbe handicapper Suncity return to handicapping our races again soon. He deserves a second chance, as do we all. Bring back this mistreated and verbally abused but loved future star handicapper now. I can hear the roar starting for Suncity, Suncity, Suncity, Suncity, Suncity !!
Race Record Horses Deserve More Recognition
Congratulations, your horse Ayres could be a future champion. So select her future tournaments carefully. At this distance, 9f and track conditions, turf, hard she can win even larger community point tournaments. Be patient and wait for the next big community points tournament at 9f turf, hard, at Santa Ana for 2 year olds if possible. All turf tracks do not run the same.
Race Record horses deserve some recognition and some decent community points, perhaps something like 25,000 points. Special recognition, like front page coverage and 100,000 community would be great for any 2 year old horse that sets the fastest time per a certain distance and track conditions. This would be great for the owners and a great enhancement to this game. It is very hard for a 2 year old horse to compete, much less dominate older horses. Something needs to be done to recognize and reward these great horses and owners.
so.....
let me get this straight Mike, the blue wil have 80. 90, 100 / etc and so will the red? if this happens Ill buy 100 more horses as soon as I see that there are that many tournaments, and not just 3 listed lol
AWESOME
This is going to be awesome!
