Horse Racing Fantasy Community

This upcoming week we will be releasing Version 10.9.05 of Horse Racing Fantasy. This will be the last download version of our game. For most players, no change will be noticed. Most of the modifications are tied to issues that have been out there since the release of 10.9.04. We are going to be releasing a very detailed video help program tying literally into every aspect of the game. These 3 to 5-minute videos will be associated with each function, both in the client and on the website (community). There was no database update, therefore no horse data will be lost and it's impossible for the update to affect the performance of any player's horses.

We're excited about our new release because it allows us, for new players, to release the game in phases to ensure that new players get a better understanding of the game at each level before they have full access to all of the features and functions. The new version of the game will prevent players from creating multiple accounts under the same IP address.

If you're interested in participating in a final round of testing and want to play with the new version prior to everyone else, just respond with a private message. A handful of players will be picked and will receive the upgrade. Please only respond if you have been a member of our community for at least three months and have an understanding of how all the game features work.

The following week we will release our new website design. We have spent a lot of time building out a new website to replace the current home page at HorseRaceGame.com. If you would like to preview the new site and participate in a survey with some questions, please also respond in a private message. Several players will be chosen. Our new home page is absolutely beautiful and should really help increase player signups.

Once we release these two features, we will activate the Breeding Shed Program, which is completely finished, as well as the Business Auction Program, which will allow players to utilize stable earnings to purchase assets such as racetracks, veterinarian businesss, horse transportation companies, etc. Owning these businesses will earn you community game points each month depending on what type of revenue your business generated. In a nutshell - just a real cool way to bonus our top players with community game points.

I'm starting to really go through the tournaments to get a better understanding of what aspect is or isn't working in both the blue and red restricted trainer tournaments. I plan on having a players' conference call session within the next ten days. I'll invite a dozen players who have kept an open mind throughout this entire time to participate in the conference call and pass around ideas and suggestions. We will not be making any major changes to blue and red restricted tournaments, but I'm definitely willing to modify their structure to ensure that they fill more frequently and, at the same time, do not interfere with our general trainer tournaments.

As a company, we're looking at some major upgrades. The biggest upgrade is totally eliminating the console or download component and having the races actually run right in your browser. Your profile page in the community would become your control center - everything from breeding, analyzing, training and entering your horses in tournaments. This is a very big move and a big investment. We are currently looking at the pros and cons. The biggest benefit, of course, would make our game multi-platform - it would function on everything from Macs, PCs, iPads and eventually Smart Phones. I'll provide more update information on this over the next two weeks when we have completed the evaluation and have some of the other items off the table.
