Over the next three days, we will be migrating over to the new Drupal 6 community and web-based game. Players will not notice any changes initially except periodic interruptions of service, which will usually be done late at night or early morning, PDT. Expect major downtime on Thursday and Friday. In addition, during the migration, the current servers will probably perform significantly slower because they will be multitasking, exporting data while at the same time processing current game play.
The migration scripts are significant in size along with the amount of data we are exporting over. This, in conjunction with last-minute adjustments that have to be made manually, will require significant downtime - up to 12 hours, potentially longer. We will try to keep updates posted on our website. During these downtimes, players will not have the ability to run races from their game or access the community. We understand that jockey, betting and trainer game tournaments will be running throughout the day and evening. There is the potential that some of the trainer tournament results may not be instantly available through our simulation engines, and only the text results found on the Results page will be displayed. It all depends on the amount of time that the site will be down.
Please do not send emails to support. All updates will be found on our website at www.horseracegame.com/community.
Additional information prior to the upgrade will be sent in the form of private messages to all of our players. All of your current account log-in information will remain the same. Navigating the site may be a little difficult at first, but all players should be able to quickly adapt to the new layout.
If there are any last-minute changes/issues, I will let the community know as soon as I know.

is that something went drastically wrong at, or before 04:00 am p.s.t. today, Friday. If I'm right, it would be nice if , Mike chimes in and explains. It's difficult to stand by each day, not knowing what's going on. Waiting for an update, explanation.

I got a pm from HRF (yesterday) they said that no more updates until Tuesday night... so how come when i try to open it says Page Not Found??????????????? Wow what an update....they should have never told us (the players ) anything until it was already finished....I don't know about ya'll , but I hate to wait , especially on something that may never get done. (OH yeah I am digging a deeper hole , everytime i speak) Oh well , such is life at HRF.
What happened to this site? I remember coming yr years ago and loving it. Now it just seems like a money pit with no future in site. Sorry to keep it real but the disconnect of Mike to us all is a disgrace and it will show in the long run. When customer service blocks fall it crumbles fast. I don't mind i put so much money into the site just sad to see it come to where it has when it showed so much promise years ago. I will be optimistic and hang it out a little while longer but as of this moment it is a sad day for sim racing fans.
is it out? i see drupal icons on the sidebar. how will we know if/when it is done? the whole site will change?
what's this about the 'web-based game'? will the standalone app go poof? what about my retired horses? what about saving races to view again? what about recording races with fraps?
where's the important info like that? i'm all for an upgrade, especially if it credits my points properly and PROMPTly during the betting game. i just hope the whole thing isn't changed completely, and the stuff i liked is taken away.
