Horse Racing Fantasy Community

As we continue to prepare for the new release, we are continuing to update certain features as well as add new features to our free and exciting game. You'll notice now on the left a tab called My Blog. All members will have the ability, starting tomorrow, to post their own blogs, which will show not only on your User Profile page, but also on a special User's Blog section in our game community. These racing blogs will be updated in real time with the newest blog moving to the top for our members to enjoy and, of course, will always be available on the author's profile page. We're hoping that a lot of members participate and utilize this feature to write about any aspect of horse racing they choose - talk about champion horses, about racing history, maybe even current racing events or current horse racing news. You might even want to talk about your pet horse or one particular favorite horse you own. It's your blog - have fun!

We are hoping to discover great writing talent. We will ask our community to identify the best user blog. We will then reward those users and compensate them with community points if they're willing to become community blog authors where their content will be posted on the main page, just like our in-house writers and content contributors. Look for this to be live tomorrow and start posting blog entries. It will be a lot of fun.

You'll notice in the right navigation under the Horse Racing Totals, two new graphics. The pie charts are live calculations of our players' jockey stats in real time. One chart represents jockey races just for today. The other represents total jockey races since inception. Mouse-over anywhere on the pie charts and you will see how the community as a whole does when racing their horses. The blue field indicates the percentage of wins. Red indicates the percentage of second-place finishes. The light gray represents third-place finishes as a jockey, and the yellow represents fourth-place. Finally, the black represents horses finishing out of the money that were ridden by our jockeys. Compare today's jockey stats against all-time jockey statistics. And, of course, you can then go to your own profile page and see how your jockey stats compare against the rest of the community in real time.

We'll be using more Flash programs throughout our community to provide fast, accurate racing information. Look for more of these features throughout our community over the next few months.

We have also activated the new VIP Lounge, which is for VIP Members only. The link for the VIP Lounge can be found in the left navigation menu. Here VIP members have quick access to all VIP stats, plus VIP user blogs and special content coming soon written specifically by jockeys and trainers. In the VIP Lounge, we will also provide offers and discounts to special upcoming virtual or live horse racing events. There will be a lot of special features added to the VIP Lounge over the next few months, further enhancing our VIP membership program.

Racing is a great game. It's a game that revolves around information and statistics. The VIP Lounge will provide what we believe is the equivalent of "inside information" - very powerful, statistical content that can make you a winner and keep you on top in our racing game.
