We didn’t get as far as I wanted to when it comes to website speed, we have made significant progress. I expect to have a lot of the speed issues resolved in this upcoming week. Next week (Tuesday) we plan to release the new Additional Stable page. This page brings back some of the convenience lost when we went to the new Stable with the Unity graphics. The Stable Summary page (that’s what it will be called) will include the following information for the page owner:
Stable Summary (earnings, total – both money and points)
Quick Links – An aggregation of important inks that a player might want to access
A full straight list of all your active horses including their current status. If the horse is in a tournament, you will also have access to pertinent tournament information including start date, end date, races available, races entered, etc. There will also be a Quick link that will pop open a new page so you can easily enter races
The new Stable Summary page will also give you quick access to your trainer tools and will color guide you (red means races to enter, green means you’re entered the maximum number of races) through each tournament. In a nutshell, we’ve taken the previous stable page from our old site and have enhanced it significantly to allow big barns easy access to all pertinent information so managing your horses (including their tournament schedules, races, etc.) can be done more efficiently, saving our players a lot of time.
Also next week, we will be adding additional functionality to the Recently Ended Trainer Races and Trainer Races Soon to End. We are incorporating the ability for a player to filter through results and specifically find the races that his horses are entered in.
Finally, early next week, we are adding the actual links to the trainer tournaments associated with the private messages letting you know that a trainer tournament you’re entered in has started and also the private messages associated with jockey and workout instructions.
Later in the week, we’re adding another feature that allows players to follow other players’ horses easily. Simply go to the stable of a competitor you’re interested in, visit their Stable Summary page and click on the Notify Me option. When the designated horse is in a tournament that has started (only once the tournament starts), you will be notified and can follow that horse. We’ll be adding enhancements to this feature at a later date, but the basic functionality will be there by next week.
Additional Features – The features and functions mentioned above are high-priority and, therefore, went to the front of the line. Though they benefit all stables, they help the larger stables manage their horses more efficiently, and obviously, that’s important to us. With this said, except for bugs, we are going to go back to our feature production list. Please do not request feature at this current time. Or, if you do ask, you have to understand that they will take their place in line and our new feature list is currently 20 pages long. We have a plan and that plan is to release features that accommodate current players and features that help new players navigate the game more effectively during their initial engagement.
Though there are several issues still open, the majority of issues from the last couple of weeks have been resolved. The remaining issues will be resolved in this coming week. I’m hoping by next Friday that things will be normal. At this point, players can take a deep breath and enjoy the new community functions, ‘look’ and easy navigation process.

Thanks for the update...things are looking good. Congrats on everything. On the list of new features is there a place to make notes during practice runs when they are not in a tourney. No biggie, I see you can make notes on a tourney and I havent got to that function yet so maybe I will be able to cat scratch my practice notes there. Also is there a calender type thing where we can either enter our horses race dates. Again if not its not important with all these other things going on. But how cool would it be one day to enter a race and that automatically goes into a calender on our stable page or something. Right now I use a desktop calendar. But again these two things are so minute compared to all the other things going on. Thanks again Mike.

Support is aware of the issue that sometimes retiring a horse takes a very long load time (and sometimes then times out/doesn´t complete the action), so a team member will address it.
In the meantime what does the trick as workaround often is that when you accept retiring a horse and then it shows the loading/busy animation and you let it wait there for around a minute (and if it doesn´t complete by then) reload the stable page, go to the same horse again and trigger retiring again.

If it prompts you to save a or open a js file then that is often due to a misconfiguration issue on your browser or a too old browser version.
In that case better use Google Chrome ( www.google.com/chrome/ ) or if you use Internet Explorer get the latest version ( windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/downloads/ie/ ) and if you still have the issue on Internet Explorer when using a recent version then press the small page icon button on the right of the address bar at the top to view the page in compatibility mode.

hi i have downloaded unity player and everything in my game runs fine except when i try to load stable page unity crashes everytime and just wont load. i cant use my stable my horses. everything else is allgood but this is so frustrating. took it to pc shop and the techs tried everything chrome windows diff flashplayers uninstall reinstall. please help me man or tell me the new stable page will help. and also what date and time approx is this new stable page coming out?. ty

If you use Norton, the Norton toolbar or AVG then use the latest version of Internet Explorer as browser, else use the latest version of Chrome.
Don´t launch a browser window/web view from the windows desktop client, instead open a new browser window and go to http://www.horseracegame.com/community/
to manage your stable etc from there.
Besides all those, yes, the second stable page is aimed at allowing a quicker simpler glance at things and Puddles will post an update once its up which should be soon.
can you tell me plz why phar lap isnt available for breeding. a lot of us on here think he was the greatest ever and would put man o or sec to the sword. is it a rights thing? or will he be on here to breed one day?
I'm having trouble purchasing things from the shop. On the "review order" page, when I click "submit order", it keeps saying that they are unable to process my payment and that I should try again. This bothers me, because I'm entering the right information.
hi i bought sec/rivridge horse files 3 days ago and still havent got them. do you know how long it will take or whats going on or even if i can get my points back if its going to take too long.
Also i understand the stress and work you are doing to improve this game.That being said i must say that before i had no issues like im having now.I am consistently going offline when i am in the middle off somthing says drupal is currently offline or somthing to that effect.Also the unity player is so slow to load still and not sure if its just me or a few or alot but speed is my biggest issue with it.I do love the new graphics but id trade that for the speed i had with the old one i just dont have the patience.Also finding everything before was much easier now i must search ie like voting on shed horses and i used to get a warning when it was time to enter my horse in a tourny although thats not a big issue i did like it.If all this gets improved this will be a far better game there is no doubt but right now i sure like the way it was before this update and im sorry i know you guys are trying your best and i do apperciate it but also you must see our point as well.
i know this new version is slower but i like it more though if it went back to the way it was to make everyone happy that wouldnt bother me either. the problem i cant handle is the help we cant get. we are never priority. i get emails saying you are the first thing we want to fix and we care so much and all that but everyone gets that email and not many get the help. theres no customer first approach it sucks. being a gamer on full tilt,pokerstars,casino and other gaming sites you wait a matter of seconds if they are at fault for the problem and they bonus you up for making a mistake. here you get nothing but be patient we care emails and theres nothing anyone can do about it. i showed 7 of my friends this site when i first found it and 1 stayed and 6 will never look at this again as they couldnt beleive the treatment. for example i paid for the sec/
riva horse file 5days ago and it never showed up. support said we are having issues be patient then 2days i email again and they say we are almost fixed and we promise to return your points by the end of the day if the file is not there dont worry. its now 5days and no points no file and support wont answer after 3 more emails. and what will happen is when they can be bothered they will send a thanks for being patient heres your file/points when they are redy and thats it. sucks
nor do most of them they are dead. phar lap would be the biggest addition to this game possible.
