I'm back and back with a BANG!

I've been away from the game for a while now due to work and just being "stressed" but I'm back for now, but before I even go into more details of my blog let me just do this quickly......

YESSSS!!!! I GOT ONE!!!!! FINALLY!!!!! YOU GO BREN!!!!

It was long awaiting but I finally got a trainer tournament win, and of all the horses that I entered, it had to be THIS ONES FOR BREN. I know I know, what's so special about this INVASOR X MOM'S COMMAND filly that gets me so much. Sometimes I'd ask for my gf's opinion on horse names, which one's were ok from which one's were corny until I told her I'd name one after her so I came up with the name from my gf's name, Brenique. I remember her running green in the training races, always one paced and one placed lol eg, if she was 9th in a race, that's where she'd stay all throughout. I remember placing her in a tournament but I took her back out before the tournament started and vetted her, that's where the changes started.

She reminds me so much of Brenique in that she never gives up in her races as much as Brenique never gives up when faced with life's challenges, even when they seem to hold her back, through her strengh in Christ and persistence and drive, she find someway to get ahead. BREN runs her heart out in every race I placed her in, even when she did'nt favour the conditions. She's the most consistent horse in my barn to date.

I remember when B told me she had lost her job because of the economic straints how hard I took it but how graceful she was about it and she never gave up and now she has a job, and her focus still hasn't shifted...so forgive me for getting teary eyed, seeing my 15-1 filly roaring down the stretch to win with a 115.20 SR. To some it may seem like a big joke but to me it was magical!

So with my imaginary glass of fine wine I say "THIS ONES FOR BREN. CHEERS!!! A JOB WELL DONE."
