Just posted a VIP blog for the VIP members only. That new Search by Horse feature is really powerful. At a glance, to get a complete summary of every horse in the game and their ability based on all the members jockeying those horses at every distance on every surface can really give the winning edge! This is the best VIP feature I've seen yet. The non-VIP members can get an idea of the distance and the surface the horses are being raced on, but you aren't going to get the full stats. I think it's really cool to know at a glance a particular horse wins at 80% on the turf going 6 furlongs. I guess you'd just have to pick that horse every time he shows up in a jockey or bettor tournament. I told Mike that jockeys would benefit from information like this.
I got a first-hand peak today at the trainer game. In fact, I bred two horses. I felt like I was at the Fasig-Tipton Florida Select Sale for 2-year-olds in training. But, kidding aside, you guys are going to love your trainer game and I'm going to get involved with it.
I'm watching the community grow every time I log on. I'm saying to myself, "This is going to be big." I can see that there are a lot of true horse racing fans hanging out here, but it appears there are also a lot of new, young, sports and horse enthusiasts finding a new place to hang out. That's really cool.
I went through a bunch of the blogs today. I like the mixture of people who are commenting and the good attitude they all appear to have. Anyway, I apologize when I'm slow to respond back to people's questions. I promise I'll try to do a little better. And, don't worry, I'm doing my share to let everyone know about how great this horse racing game is and how wonderful the community is. I'll be posting a couple of blogs in the next few weeks with my picks for the Kentucky Derby.
