Two Of The Top Five To Race Tonight

Misty Images goes for his record ninth tournament win tonight in the Tough And Heavy Final. However, it might not be a simple walkover. He will have to go against stablemate Hallowed Ground who is 3 for 3 in this tournament so far, but the real danger could be So Let It Be Done, who defeated Misty Images in the G2-LeBron James by over 4 lengths, and ‘Let It’ gets a seven pound weight break from Misty Images. Also a danger is jaycat’s 5yr old Foxtrot Uniform. This horse also outfinished Misty Images in the G2-LeBron James, but only had a 3lb weight break that day, tonight she will also get a seven pound advantage. Will Misty Images crush under the weight or will he rise to the occasion.
Also, Mdm Mister Pink is running tonight in the G1-Mickey Mantle. In this race she will face eight horses, but six of them will be dangerous pool horses. Of them, Dark Queen looks most likely to spring an upset. This race goes off at 19:30 server time.

Great Tournament On The Horizon?

There have been talks of a tournament to put all other tournaments to shame. A meeting of all the greats in the game on Chuchill Downs dirt in a 10f final. The line-up is more than star-studded, with greats like Wells Fargo, Misty Images, Voodoo Fever, Forever Silent, Serena Williams, Stark Reality, Coffy, and Mr Mojo Rising, just to name a few. But, will it happen? Co-creator of the idea RichardMacias only gives it a 20% chance of happening and a 0% chance of it happening if puddles and his minions do not get involved. This is something that HRF has needed ever since the beginning of the trainer game started. Let’s hope and pray that it gets done.

Quarterly Rewards Program Comes To A Close

Ten Horses will be awarded tonight with the distinct honor of being the first to win the Quarterly Awards program, but some of the races have ended in dead heats. Leading 2 Year Old Tournament Race Winners – Female and Leading 3 Year Old Tournament Race Winners are both in stalemates. Principal, Miss Horizon, and Im Affectionate are all deadlocked at 10 wins, but ruffian15’s Im Affectionate did it in only 11 starts. Meanwhile, the two best 3 yr olds Stark Reality and Serena Williams are tied with 10 wins, but Stark Reality did it in only 10 starts. These are the other likely winners: Probably Late-bhdcwt1, Aim-topscouse, Satin Shorts-racodo, Majestic Beauty-vasdef, Miss Horizon-suncity, Chelsea-sundown, Serena Williams-vasdef, and Mdm Mister Pink-danielcakes.

Escenaro Looks The Horse To Beat In First Blue

The light grey son of Barbaro looks like the choice to take down the 700k in community points being handed out in the First Blue Tournament. The colt won all three of his starts so far in his career by a slim total of 3L, but has shown unbelievable speed compared to the competition He is the only horse in the tournament to break :22 for a quarter mile, the only horse to go wire to wire in a race, and finally the only horse to win all its starts in the tournament. Only four horses have win a race in this tournament, but Escenaro is the only one to win more than one. He is the class of the field.

Lucky Lucy

Done. Out. With over 3Mill in earnings, five tournament wins, and nineteen wins overall, Lucky Lucy faded into oblivion like other greats of the past. Retire this past week while ranked in the top 10 on the earnings leaderboard. The reason: “deteriorating form,” but really how bad was it “deteriorating.” Her last tournament pitted her against Voodoo Fever, one of the greats currently active in the game, but she held her own running SR’s of 120, 106, 117 (2), and 112. These ratings can compete in this game especially at 8-10f sand where there are limited horses that can run there. Was she retired too early? Maybe, Maybe not, but one thing remains certain, Lucky Lucy was one of the greats in this game and was a catalyst for the game, but most likely will be forgotten by all those but rlparlett

Since, the lightbulb has illuminated and Play Ball has rolled off six straight wins including a 15L romp in a G1 that brought together most of the best 2yr olds.

However, his last race last night was a second place finish in the G2-Kent Desormeaux behind Miss Priss, who set the 3rd fastest time for 8f good dirt.
