Welcome Back to the Times, I have a very thin edition this week but we'll make do. Haven't been on much in the last two weeks so just have an abreviated General's Great Eight this week with just the horse's name and owner. Allegedly Finds Old Form

Allegedly (Secretariat-Winning Colors) looked like his old self in the Glad To Meet You final as he ripped through the competition to win on the line by a head over Cannon (Curlin-Dance Smartly). The top three finishers of the race all broke the previous 10f world record. The colt ran the derby distance in a blistering 1:57.45, earning a 142SR on the fast track.
Lord Outstanding Defeats All-Star Field, Again

Lord Outstanding (Dr Fager-Outstandingly) rolled to her third win of the Move Like A Winner Tournament in the final. She stalked the fast pace, then rolled by to take the lead at the quarter pole and held off stablemate Trojan Warrior (Holy Bull-Affectionately) by 1.75L. One of the favorites throughout this tournament was Lucky Lucy (Dr Fager-Ambassador Of Luck), but all she could manage in the final was a disappointing fourth, never threatening the leaders. The final time for the race was 1:13.07 breaking the 6.5f sand record and earning the 2009 HRF Horse Of The Year a 133SR.
Higher Power Steps Up, Wells Fargo Implodes

Higher Power (Dr Fager-Dance Smartly) took advantage of a faster than fast pace to roar by the field an win the Shaw Fun Final by 3/4L. The overwhelming favorite for the tournament was money leader Wells Fargo (Dr Fager-Ruffian) but she only managed one win the entire tournament and was ripped to pieces in the final, finishing last of the eight. The blanket finish was exiting with 5 horses within two lengths of the leader at the line. The final time was a run of the mill 1:07.77 a full 1.5 seconds off of Web Slinger’s record. ‘Power’ earned a 120SR for the win, third of his 25 race career.
Misty Images Rolls Through Many Flavors Tournament

Misty Images (Conquistador Cielo-Bayakoa) won all four of his races in the Many Flavors Tournament including the final. In that one she sat fifth through to the quarter pole before exploding home to get King Cobra (Dr Fager-Ruffian) by 3/4L. The final time for the one mile event was 1:32.76 earning the five time tournament winner (20th win overall) a 130SR.

My Picks/Top Claiming Prospect For The Race
1-Rough N Tough looks intriguing with two 100+ Speed Ratings on fast dirt. The son of Man O War’s 9th in his last outing is better than it looks with him only finishing about 3L from the winner. He also has the speed to run a sub-22 quarter mile. 3-Sitting Chilly has 4 SR’s over 100, but he switches surfaces again after trying turf last out. He could be the class of the field with 90k in earnings. 7-Patches has found new form since cutting back to one turn second time out, winning her maiden by a neck from well off the pace. In that tournament final, however, she failed to menace from the back of the pack, finishing last of ten. 9-Straight Edge ran one race, one third, 100SR, this one-paced horse might get up for a share. 12-Twilights Gleam opened her career with a claimer win, then ran third and sixth in her subsequent tournament races. If she gets enough pace, she could get there. Of the first-time starters, 2-Off To Work would be your best bet, from the bhdcwt1 barn, the dark grey daughter of Dr Fager has as much of a chance as any.
