Heap Of Steel Upsets Top In The Rain Final
http://www.horseracegame.com/community/races/8965
In a tournament that featured top sloppers Doc Beauty (Dr Fager-Sky Beauty), Run River Run (Riva Ridge-Ruffian), and Ground Breaking (Conquistador Cielo-Outstandingly), it turned out to be racodo’s Heap Of Steel (Tom Fool-Gold Beauty) streaking clear of the field in the final to post a one length win over sundown’s duo of Robin Goodfellow and Ground Breaking. It was another 1.75L back to Clay Shoting in fourth and favorite Run River Run was a disappointing fifth, 3L behind the winner. Ronwar’s Doc Beauty decide to skip the final and opt for a different tournament in search of some extra earnings.
For most of the race it was favorite Run River Run wheeling and dealing on the front end through quarters in 21.51, 43.54 with Ground Breaking and Heap Of Steel right on his tail. Then, with about a three-sixteenths to go, Heap Of Steel passed by the tiring Run River Run (who was racing w/o lasix) and kicked clear to a 1.5L lead. Then, sundown’s pair of sloppers starting mowing horses down in tandem but never got close enough to scare Heap Of Steel.
The win for the up-and-coming bay colt improved his record to 23-11-3-1 with 1,347,500 in earnings and two tournament wins.
Ronwar’s Decision Pays Off For Doc Beauty
http://www.horseracegame.com/community/tournament-detail/217120
It was a tough decision for a trainer to make, to skip a chance at almost 300k community points and instead go for the virtual dollars that could be vital in getting his mare to the breeding shed, but ronwar opted for the virtual earnings and it has turned out in his favor.
Doc Beauty has scored four consecutive wins in G2 races in the Get The Rush tournament, all G2 wins. The reason for the ease with which the races were won, is because of the fact that all the other top sloppers were tied up in the tournament the Doc Beauty skipped the final of. Doc’s four wins have come by a combined 13.5L and all four have been easy gate-to-wire scores. The winning speed ratings have ranged from 143-151.
The wins have upped her earnings to 3,727,500 and her overall record to a spectacular 35-25-1-5. She has also posted four tourney wins and will be looking for number five on the 21st.
Lord Outstanding Racing Outstanding In Sounds Good Tournament
http://www.horseracegame.com/community/tournament-detail/217184
2009 HRF Horse Of The Year Lord Outstanding (Dr Fager-Outstandingly) is at it again. She has already posted two dominating wins in the Sounds Good Tournament by a combined 14.5 lengths and both with 135+ Sr’s
Her tour d fource just keeps on rolling as she has upped her earnings to 3.75M and her record to 24-21-2-1.
Favored Outduels Stark Reality In King Richard Final
http://www.horseracegame.com/community/races/8754
Favored (Tom Fool-Ruffian) traded punches with Stark Reality (Tom Fool-Genuine Risk) throughout the length of the stretch and eventually had to hold of Stark’s final surge in the final strides to win. Favored’s trainer Team916 came inot the race very confident and left a winner.
In a tournament that was very competitive from the beginning, it was fitting that it would end with such a close finish. Both Favored and Stark Reality were extremely competitive in the qualifying races but so was Voodoo Fever. However, Voodoo Fever failed to menace in the final finishing a severely disappointing fifth beaten 9+ lengths. The wise guy horse coming into the race was brianshaw23’s Victory Charge who had great connections, and the perfect running style, a closer. He got the fast pace he wanted but couldn’t run down the top horses when it counted and finished sixth.
The win for Favored ran his record to 20-12-3-2 with 1,517,500 in earnings and three tournament wins, he is a true breeding shed threat.
Good Way To Play Tournament Attracts All-Star Field
http://www.horseracegame.com/community/tournament-detail/217186
Misty Images, Lucky Lucy, Royal Danish, and Run Riva Run all showed up for this top tournament, but it has been Misty Images that has dominated the tournament so far with two wins and a troubled fourth where he got into unbelievable traffic troubles. Run Riva Run went on to win that race, but Misty was much the best. Lucky Lucy has dual seconds so far while Royal Danish has one fourth and one third for the soundofrum barn. The other soundofrum horse, Lord Tweedmouth, has represented himself well also with a win and a third equaling 337k in earnings for this tourney alone. Of the seven horses in the tournament, five have won upwards of 1M and all have won more than 500k. This tournament should be extremely competitive until the final is complete on 3-23. The next chapter in the series will be on Sunday when all the top ones face off.
Wells Fargo Struggling In Low Entry Fee Tournament
http://www.horseracegame.com/community/trainer-tournament/215294/dice-on...
Money leader and ex-super horse Wells Fargo is in deep water to make the breeding shed. She toiled to ninth in her debut in the Dice On The Roll Tournament, and then was a well beaten second in her next race. Without a money finish tomorrow in her final qualifying race for the tournament, she will not make the final. Wells Fargo has won over 3.8M in earnings and has a career record of 32-19-6-3.

My Picks/Top Claiming Prospect For The Race
6-Excise Tax comes into this race off a huge win in a 50k Claimer last out at this distance, track and surface. He won by 2.5 lengths in a fast time with a 108SR. 4-Desert Street is a two-time claimer winner and has three wins to his name. He has posted winning SRs of 110, 99, 97, and is sure to put forth his best effort. 7-Kentucky Bound is yet to win but has been knocking on the door throughout the beginning stages of his career, maybe the surface switch will turn the light on. 8-Tears Of Desire looks like a dangerous horse as he makes his debut for the ronster barn. 1-Get Going Now is 1-1 but the time was horrible in his win posting only a 82SR.

By the way....
..that was just great strategy by ronwar to go after the $ earnings for his horse, it is a sign of good management as he steers his horse towards the breeding shed.
