Horse Racing Fantasy Community

I originally joined the team as a tester for Horse Racing Fantasy3, way back in early February. I've played many horse racing games - on PlayStation, fantasy horse racing games, free download horse racing games, just about every horse racing game that's ever come out on the Internet. What I love most about this horse racing game is how it mirrors the real world of horse racing. Whether I'm watching champion race horses of the past compete against current champion race horses or I'm just playing around with the fictitious (or fantasy) horses, this sports action game is as close to real world horse racing as you it gets.

I've been a handicapper and have actually been betting horses for about four years. So, I'm far from an expert handicapper, but I really believe that playing this virtual horse racing game has really helped me understand quite a bit more about all the different aspects of race horses and horse racing in general.

As of yesterday, I'm now officially on the Horse Racing Fantasy team! Mike and Gary have given me just one job - get the community more engaged. I'll be running contests and promotions on different aspects of race horses and horse racing, some of it tied to the real world of horse racing and some to the fantasy sports side. So, I need your help and am willing to reward you for it. Working on the 4th of July is a first for me, but I felt this was a big weekend and we need to get things started here in the community.

Since we send out new fantasy horses for our digital horse racing game every month, I thought the first thing I could do is have a little contest to find out who can come up with the coolest names for race horses in our virtual racing game. So, here are the rules - just reply to this blog with one name of a horse you think should be featured in our game. Give a brief, one-sentence description of why you think the name would be cool. No obscenities, do not use names of current or past champion race horses, keep it under 16 characters and do not use any names we already have inside our game. The best five race horse names submitted (and I'm the one choosing) will be entered into a special tournament where one winner will win 50,000 bonus community points. If your name is one of the names that makes it as one of the five finalists, I'll give you 5,000 bonus community points. This contest will run until next Sunday, July 13, at midnight. You can enter as many times as you want, but only one horse name per entry. If you've got 30 names, enter them but only one per post. And, remember, I want a reason why you're submitting that name. The reason will count as much as the name itself.
