The horse named after its owner's favourite comedian, George Carlin, showed its funny side in a 6.5 furlong race today. He came from last place tucked against the pole, to rally in the stretch and finish in first (3 1/2 lengths in front of the competition). He posted an impressive 95 speed rating and made a good impression on the owner. On the other hand, Knight Encounter came 6th out of 7 in his Breeder's Cup Final Race (with lasix), so the owner decided to call it a career for the sub 90 rated horse.
