After winning 2 races in a row at 5.5f and posting 110+ speed ratings, Valiant Soldier and his jockey were confident that they'd have no problem winning the underfielded 5f Tom Brady race. After all, 5f is the distance where Valiant Soldier excels and is the distance that he won his first race (without lasix too). So, Valiant Soldier decides to full-out sprint for the full 5f, maybe due to his confidence from the lasix. Literally, his speed bar was on full the whole race. This strategy almost worked, but he was edged by Using my Points at the end of the stretch. Hopefully, Valiant Soldier and his jockey have learned their lesson and are ready to crush the field in the Breeder's Cup Classic Race. I would also like to note that Valiant Soldier finished at the top of the leaderboard (as he did in every tournament thusfar), with Using my Points in second as his main competition.
