Calvin Borel made the right choice in riding Rachel Alexandra and history was made May 16 at Pimlico, when for the first time, the Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) winner not only ran in the Preakness Stakes (gr. I) but won the race in convincing fashion. Rachel Alexandra finished first and Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands winner Mine That Bird was a close second.

Rachel Alexandra was Amazing!

Rachel Alexandra ran an amazing race! I was rooting for Mine That Bird, but he ran a great race and came in second. If Rachel Alexandra goes to the Belmont and Mine That Bird does too, i'll still be cheering for Mine That Bird !!!!

she is fantastic ! I dont know whay she didnt come to dubai for the world cup becase it is completely suits her , a dirt race , 10 f distance , I wish I can see him next year in dubai .
