Results for the Tom Smith New Member Jockey Tournament that ended on November 21 have been posted. Just click on the tournament name from the Tournament Schedule calendar and take a look at how the tournament shaped up. Congratulations to Jubaruba who won the tournament with an Average PPS of 221.20 and will grab 75,000 community points as the first place winner. Second place winner MedicKaren will receive 50,000 community points and MrMagic will receive 20,000 community points for third place. Although Delpark88 did not place in the tournament, he/she did run the most number of races and received 5,000 bonus community points for that effort. Congratulations to all the winners!

We will soon be moving over to our new tournament platform, so these may be the last tournaments we run under the existing system. You will all want to compete in our new tournaments, so save up those community points - they're VALUABLE! We will be supplying information on the new tournament system when it goes live, so watch for updates on that.

One of the most exciting aspects of our new tournament program is the user-generated tournaments. You will be able to create a tournament right from your game and then invite your friends, family and fellow game players to join your tournament and compete for points and, maybe even more important than the points, for bragging rights! Competing head-to-head in these tournaments will be a blast. User-generated tournaments coupled with house-generated tournaments should allow for plenty of tournament opportunities every day.

Remember, you can earn those community points in a variety of ways. You earn them through successful game play while in community mode; by posting in the community to blogs, forums, the gallery, etc; by inviting a friend through the Invite-A-Friend module, by becoming a VIP (which allows you to earn even more daily points than general members) or by purchasing points. We're adding an additional avenue of point earning soon through our sponsor program, also. In other words, there are many ways to earn points - so start earning!
