I am constantly getting the same question about new tournaments. I've posted it before but am posting it again. The best way to check for new tournaments is to check my blog, or even more convenient, guys, just click on the Tournament Schedule calendar on the right. Look for the dates highlighted in red indicating the start of an event.
Now, I know we're all anxious to get involved in these tournaments and get racing right away, but it's very, very important - and let me say it one more time - very important that you read the tournament qualifications. For example, the tournament may only be open to VIPs, the tournament may only be open to users who have run more than a certain number of races or who have run less than a certain number of races, the tournament may be restricted to players who have won a certain number of races as a jockey or who may have a certain points-per-start average. You can get all your own jockey stats by simply going to your profile and clicking on User Jockey Stats. The first line will show you your lifetime results. How many races have you run as a jockey? How many wins? How many points per start do you have? All of these may be factors when entering a tournament. Once you feel you are eligible for a tournament and the tournament has not started yet, just click the link and you're entered. It's that simple. All races run in community mode during the tournament schedule time will count toward your tournament play. And, yes, guys, you can be entered in multiple tournaments at once.
Just a hint - if we say the tournament is restricted to players who have run less than 250 races, unless it specifically says "jockey races", then the tournament qualification is all races, not just your jockey races. Whether you play the game in private mode or community mode, a total count of your races run can also be found on your profile page near the top where it says Total Races.
Another little hint because I want all of our players to be on equal ground - or should I say, "equal racing ground". Some tournaments have qualifications as to a minimum number of races that must be run during the tournament time period. For example, if the tournament says three days - must run 50 races - and it is a jockey tournament to qualify, you must run 50 races as a jockey in community mode during that time period to qualify.
I suggest checking out the Tournament Schedule days in advance so you can prepare for tournaments. Come back to the community often to view the latest tournaments that are available and don't necessarily count on receiving emails from us. Look for a whole new group of horse racing tournaments by tomorrow.
Good luck to all our players!

Limit?
Is there a limit to how many tournaments I can be involved in at once? Is it just as many as I can qualify for?
The new tournaments
I have ran roughly 541 races so far, and the new tournaments say if you ran over 500 your not eligible to enter the race. So what now? No races for us guys who play with regularity?

tournament restrictions
there are plenty of tournaments for guys like you (top players) . Just check the calender. I suggest you check the calender daily we are adding new horse racing tournaments almost daily .
It looks like you will be restricted but that is not true. We want to have tournaments for new players who are just getting started . We need those to be fair as well. As we get bigger we will be adding many more types of horse racing tournaments for all levels of our players so they can race as jockey or bet in many horse racing tournaments each week
The more you play the more past performance info is shown on your horses . This is big for our players . The more info on each horse the horse gets easier to figure out how to jockey .
One last thing if a tournament says less then 250 or 5oo races this is at the time of entry . Once you enter the horse racing tournament keep playing until it begins . At that point once you enter no worries you are entered.
I PROMISE THE HIGHEST PAYING TOURNAMENTS TO OUR MOST LOYAL HORSE RACING GAME PLAYERS . JUST WAIT AND SEE.
No Limit
Yes, as long as you qualify for the tournament at the time of entry, you can play in as many tournaments as you want. Remember, the time of entry and the start time of the tournament are different. Check my latest blog for more information about this.
Lots of tournaments for you
Correct - you are not eligible for this tournament if you have run 541 races. You probably are too good of a player to compete against those players who do qualify for this tournament. If you read my latest blog, you'll understand why we do this. The good news is that there will actually be more tournaments for players like you as time goes on. In fact, over the next weeks and months, most tournaments will require a minimum number of races and there will only be a handful that require a maximum. I give the full details of this and why we do it in my most recent blog post.
Keep playing, keep practicing - there are plenty of tournaments for you in the calendar schedule right now and plenty more over the weeks to come. Don't worry, we LOVE our loyal players and will take good care of you guys. Derbygirl promises!
