If you're new to our game and our community, welcome! I'm Derbygirl and I handle all of the tournaments, especially the ones generated by us, the House. When people first come here, they're excited with all the horse racing action we have going on in both our game and community, but they also seem to get a little overwhelmed. Don't be. Take a deep breath, take it slow and within a few days, you'll actually be having the time of your life.

Start winning right away. To enter tournaments, you need community points. You can earn community points by playing the game successfully. The fastest way to get community points is to take advantage of the Free Points link from the top navigation menu here in the community. Now, listen to how easy this is. Click the link, find a free offer that you like, fill it out (what - may take a minute or two?), hit submit and in a short period of time, you're in the game with community points and you're ready to enter your first tournament. But, before you get too brave, practice a little bit playing as a jockey or a bettor so you can get used to the game and how it works. Once you're comfortable, scroll through the Tournament Schedule, find a tournament that fits your level of play (easily identified through our color coding system), enter the event with the free points you just earned and you're off to the races and hopefully to your first badge in our community. If you lose, don't worry - go back to the Free Points button and do it again.

With all this great content to engage with, you could spend hours reading great stories, blogs, watching videos, checking out shared races, going through the picture gallery and so much more. But, one place you need to make a stop is the Get Help section - from the top navigation menu. Everybody in their life needed or will need help at some time. There you will find a great video tutorial help section on all the fun aspects including points, tournaments, an overview of the game in general and so much more. Sit back, relax, munch on your favorite snack, watch the tutorials and then get in the game, do your offers, earn your points, enter jockey or betting tournaments and win. It's all about fun and I promise that you'll have a lot of it.
