Haskel Day
It has been awhile since i have written one of these...but they drew the Haskell card today and while everyone was watching race 13 for Rachel Alexandra the really story is race 1. Beacon Beach takes aim on his N1X condition again. The purse has been bumped 10k to 61,000...and that is a lot of money so we once again we take a shot. A bunch of tough horses appear to be entered but I think beacon should up to the challenge. He has finished and 2nd 3 times in 4 races so far this year and while sprinting is not really his best spot it seems to be paying the bills. Maybe I will some of you at the track Sunday. Race goes off at noon.
Updates
Karmageddon is training well and should be ready for her first race ever on Jersey day August 23rd.
Pinelands Pete is training well too showing some excellent speed...just how far he can go....he is pointing toward a mid September debut.
Frank the Barber- got some RR to get rid of some bumps and bruises and he too is targeting a race on the grass for Jersey day.
