There's always been a debate on how intelligent horses are. I, personally, believe horses are much smarter than people give them credit. I've watched race horses battle hard down the stretch against other horses to win. But, let's forget horse racing and race horses for a second. Let's just talk about horses in general. We all know they're beautiful, whether they're standing still or running at full speed, there's something captivating about a horse. I don't just mean a Thoroughbred race horse. From their muscular builds to the color combinations, they're beautiful animals. The question is, how intelligent are they? I want your feedback. Any experiences that you've had with horses, race horses, riding horses - I don't care - any feedback that you have. Go ahead and tell me that you don't think they're intelligent - or, agree with me. But, I'm going to make my case for these magnificent four-legged creatures right now.
One thing you have to realize - or, at least I believe it's true - is that curiosity and intelligence go hand-in-hand. Wouldn't you agree? Babies are curious and it's funny some of the things they do while they're trying to explore their new world. I'm not necessarily talking about infants. I've been around a lot of horses in my life and they're one of the most curious animals I've ever seen. Their curiosity always seems to correlate with humor. Sometimes I almost believe they want the attention, and if that's not another sign of intelligence, I don't know what is. Anyway, enjoy the video. I think it adds to my point that horses are intelligent and can be absolutely hysterically funny at times.
Don't forget - hit me up with your feedback. I'm curious to know...

My horse Champ
I totally agree about racehorses and just regular horses being intelligent! I'd like to submit for example my old horse Champ. When I was in my teens, I lived on a farm and had a horse named Champ. He wasn't necessarily the fastest horse in the world, but he was my horse and I definitely loved him. Well...the point of my story is that every day after I finished school, Champ and I would go for a run. After only a few tries, Champ had our route memorized without me even having to guide him. To me, that is just one example of how intelligent horses are. I'm sure there are many more! By the way, that's one of the reasons I love this virtual horse racing game so much - it really takes into account that each horse is different and has a mind of its own!
