I have a confession. I was bitten by the horse racing bug when I was really young. And I mean VERY young. Many people don’t know this about me, but I’ve been around horses my entire life. My dad had standardbreds and thoroughbreds and my sister did showjumping. So when I turned five, I started showjumping too. I did that until I turned 13, when I went away to boarding school. Then later, as a summer job, I galloped thoroughbreds on a farm.
It was there that I truly got the itch. I’m sure there are many of you who know exactly what I’m talking about. Maybe you haven’t gotten the itch to be a professional jocky, but you’ve definitely experienced the desire to be involved with horse racing whenever and however you can, whether that means frequent visits to the track or a quest to continually improve in the Horse Racing Fantasy Game. And I have to say, that’s one of the great things about this game – it definitely helps satisfy that itch. It’s exciting and so much like a real race that I’m confident it can, and is, going a long way toward satisfying your horse racing “itches.” As for me, as soon as I started riding those thoroughbreds, I got the itch big time. All I wanted to do was go to the racetrack. My dad told me that if I graduated, then we could discuss it. Well, I graduated and I still wanted to be a jockey. So...here I am! Happy racing to you all!

I have the bug too!
Chantal - I totally agree! I have the itch...and I have had it ever since 1992, which was the year I first visited the track. This sport just has a way of drawing you in, for sure.
