A field of 10 go postward in the G3, $400,000 Holy Bull Stakes led by the Breeders' Cup Juvenile champion Shanghai Bobby. He tries to remain an undefeated 5 for 5 - this will be his first race since early November and his first try over this Gulfstream Park surface. Bern Identity got second in the Delta Jackpot back in November. In that race he was beaten a couple lengths by Goldencents, who Shanghai Bobby beat by 5 in the Champagne. A formidable newcomer might be Itsmyluckyday - and it just might be. He just won the Gulfstream Park Derby in excellent time and looks to be on the improve now. Frac Daddy got second in the Kentucky Jockey Club finishing ahead of Dewey Square who got third. These two look very talented but were a little light on speed figures, so will have to move forward to contend with the champ. Clearly Now, Sr Quisqueyano, Tulira Castle, Fredericksburg, and Joshua's Compromise round out the field.

I fully expect that Shanghai Bobby will need this race and that he probably wont be KD caliber in terms of distance. I really like two horses in this race: Itsmyluckyday is very sharp off of a recent win right here at GP. Dewey is another improving sort who will make a race out of this. Good luck to all.
