Dancing in Silks, the Breeders' Cup Sprint winner, comes off a two-plus-month layoff to compete in the $150,000 Palos Verdes Handicap at Santa Anita Racetrack on Saturday. The layoff and breaking from the rail may render him a bit vulnerable, however. Kinsale King will certainly be looking at that winners circle after winning the Grade 3 Vernon O. Underwood in December. Finishing a solid third in the Phoenix at Keeneland, Ez Dreamer also has a shot in this event. Eaton's Gift is not familiar with the synthetic surface at Santa Anita, earning his last win in the Smile Sprint Handicap at Calder Race Course, so he'll have some adjusting to do here. Coming from well off the pace, Supreme Summit will trust Rafael Bejarano to help him improve in this race.
Another exciting race with a talent field for our VIPs to run, perhaps over and over again, to come up with their own predictions on who the occupant of the winner's circle will be.
General members, you should definitely consider becoming a VIP because perks like our regular weekend prebuilt races are just one of the benefits of VIP membership that take your game play and enjoyment to a whole new level. That small 33-cent-per-day subscription fee is a wee thing compared to the huge amount of enjoyment and challenge you find as a VIP. There are a ton of benefits that accompany the VIP membership, like the special VIP tournaments that just started up again and include real prizes in addition to winning community game points. Just go to the Get Help section (from the top navigation menu), click on the Subscription Services Grid topic and check out all the benefits available to our VIPs.
Enjoy the $150,000 Palos Verdes Handicap, VIPs! It should add another measure of racing action to your weekend fun.
Love,
Michelle
