Violence makes his three-year-old debut in Saturday's 1 1/8 mile Grade 2 $400,000 Fountain of Youth Stakesat Gulfstream. The undefeated son of Medaglia d’Oro with an outstanding pedigree took the G2 Nashua at Aqueduct and the G1 Cash Call Futurity at Hollywood to cap his 2 year old season. He will have to run his best race as there is a lot of new talent to contend with. Majestic Hussar is coming off a nice allowance win and will be near the pace. He ran one of the better speed figures in this race with a 94. Orb and Cerro both are coming off allowance wins as well here at Gulfstream so they have the advantage of a win on the surface over which they will race. He’s Had Enough ran an outstanding race in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile but could only manage third in his 3-year-old debut in the RB Lewis at Santa Anita - he has the breeding to go the distance and could bounce back. Falling Sky has won three of four career races including the G3 Sam Davis last out. Joshuas Compromise, Elmutahid, Sky Captain, Speak Logistics, Sr. Quisqueyano round out the field.
General members, you should definitely consider becoming a VIP because perks like our regular weekend prebuilt races are just one of the benefits of VIP membership that take your game play and enjoyment to a whole new level. That small 33-cent-per-day subscription fee is a wee thing compared to the huge amount of enjoyment and challenge you find as a VIP. There are a ton of benefits that accompany the VIP membership, like the special VIP tournaments that just started up again and include real prizes in addition to winning community game points. Just go to the Get Help section (from the top navigation menu), click on the Subscription Services Grid topic and check out all the benefits available to our VIPs.
We think our VIPs will definitely enjoy running the 2013 Grade 2 $400,000 Fountain of Youth Stakes at Gulfstream Park this weekend. \
