Four-time Grade 1 winner Blind Luck takes on three-time Grade 1 winner Devil May Care in the Grade 1, $500,000 Alabama Stakes on Saturday at Saratoga Race Course. Devil May Care is coming off two consecutive victories including the Mother Goose and the Coaching Club Oaks. Blind Luck most recently won the Delaware Oaks and has never finished out of the money. Connie and Michael chased home Devil May Care most recently in the Mother Goose and could cause the upset. Havre de Grace chased home Blind Luck in the Delware Oaks and lost by only a nose to her that day. Acting Happy is considered a longshot although she did win the Black Eyed Susan on Preakness Day back in May, and she would not be a complete surprise.

This strong and fairly evenly-matched field of contenders offers real racing excitement this weekend. It should be fun running this race to form your opinion of who you think will cross that finsih line first.
