The 1-1/16-mile $200,000 New Orleans Ladies Stakes on Saturday features the return of the 2009 Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra after a six month absence. If Rachel is 100% ready, she will be almost unstoppable. If it happens that she is not quite in peak form yet, then Zardana, the winner of the G2 Bayakoa at Hollywood Park last December may be one that has an outside shot. Clear Sailing and Fighter Wing are coming out of a non-graded stakes at the Fairgrounds and have a gigantic task ahead of them in attempting to vanquish the Horse of the Year. Unforgotten will come from far off the pace and rounds out the field.

What fun and excitement it will be to run this race over and over to see if Rachel Alexandra can continue her amazing track performances for our VIPs.
