The $200,000 Grade 2 Strub Stakes at Santa Anita has attracted the Bob Baffert-trained Misremembered, who comes into this race finishing as runner-up in his last two races, the Clark Handicap and the Malibu. He will face a field of 9 other contenders including Smart Bid and Rendezvous, who finished second and third respectively in the San Fernando Stakes in January. The Woodbine contender Eagle Poise and the consistent in-the-money finisher Massone will also give Misremembered a run for the money. Another Baffert entry is Viscount after finishing fourth in the San Fernando Stakes. Square Eddie promises to put in a good showing and Heavenly Wind, Gallant Son and Differentkindagreat round out the field.
