Ten horses are entered in Saturday's $750,000 Santa Anita Derby. Creative Cause, who drew the No. 1 post will be the heavy odds on favorite. The second choice in the Santa Anita Derby will be I'll Have Another, who made a monster run in the Robert B. Lewis Stakes on Feb. 4, winning by 2 ¾ lengths earning a 96 Speed Figure. Liason won the Grade 1 Cash Call Futurity but was beaten over 5 lengths by Creative Cause in the Grade 2 San Felipe last month. Holy Candy and Paynter are coming off maiden wins, and Senor Rain is coming out of an allowance win. Midnight Transfer got within 3 lengths of Creative Cause in the San Felipe and so will have to find a few lengths to beat the favorite. Longview Drive ran a poor race in the Southwest over at Oaklawn, but prior to that got third in the Grade 3 Sham over this track. Brother Francis drew the outside post and has never won but has finished in the money in two graded stakes including the Cash Call Futurity.
