The 2010 $750,000 Santa Anita Handicap Brings Challenging Racing Action to Our VIPs This Weekend

Saturday's $750,000 Santa Anita Handicap features no real standout. Loup Breton is the second morning line choice at 4-1, and is coming off a win in the G2 San Marcos Handicap in January. St Trinians, seeking to become the first female to win the race, is the mild 7/2 favorite, having won four straight against her own sex. This will be her toughest assignment yet. Mast Track is a talented horse and does have a Grade 1 at 1-1/4 miles over synthetic at Hollywood Park, but that was in 2008. Mast Track's rival, Neko Bay will try to get the better of him this race (though they are actually both from the same barn, John Sherrifs), and the distance might suit Neko Bay just a touch better than Mast Track. Delightful Kiss just finished a distant third in the Grade 1 Donn Handicap over at Gulfstream. Jeronimo and Misremembered are an intriguing pair, both coming out of the Strub Stakes, first and second. Marsh Side, Tigers Rock, Pool Play, and Eagle Poise round out the field.

How fun it will be, VIPs, to race these contenders to see if St. Trinians can actually win this race and become the first female to do so. Or see if Delightful Kiss can maintain his performance level on synthetic surfaces and walk into the winner's circle. Or will it be Jeronimo or Misremembered or Mast Track?

General members, you should definitely consider becoming a VIP because perks like our regular weekend prebuilt races are just one of the benefits of VIP membership that take your game play and enjoyment to a whole new level. That small 33-cent-per-day subscription fee is a wee thing compared to the huge amount of enjoyment and challenge you find as a VIP. There are a ton of benefits that accompany the VIP membership, like the special VIP tournaments that just started up again and include real prizes in addition to winning community game points. Just go to the Get Help section (from the top navigation menu), click on the Subscription Services Grid topic and check out all the benefits available to our VIPs.

Get going, VIPs, and run the $750,000 Santa Anita Handicap over and over to see if you can predict who the first place finisher might actually be.

Love,
Michelle

Thanks Michelle

Thanks for keeping us up to date on all of Stakes races.
It's especially important this time of year, with all of the Derby preps.

Running these Stakes races in simulation is an added tool for evaluating the actual outcomes. It has really made me a better player at the track.
Keep up the great work, your blogs are greatly appreciated.

Love you back,
Vas
