Hello Horse Racing Fans!

Aaron here, and I wanted to welcome you to the first-ever post in my exclusive new blog here in the Horse Racing Fantasy community. I am really excited about this opportunity because as busy as I am, I don’t get nearly as much time as I’d like to interact with horse racing fans (the greatest fans in the world, in my opinion). This blog is going to be a chance for me to share insights into the racing game that will help you as a bettor, a fantasy player and of course increase your enjoyment as a fan.

Starting later this week, I am going to begin an in-depth look at how our biases affect the way we watch and play the game. You know how hard it is to unlearn a bad golf swing? Well, the same thing goes for horse racing. If, for example, you’ve made up your mind that speed makes all the difference in the world, then that’s your BIAS – and right or wrong, it’s going effect everything you do as a player. I’m going show you why biases are bad, and how you can come to each race with a much clearer picture of what’s going to happen and why.

And it’s all going to come from my perspective as a jockey! Stay tuned, we’re going to have a great time in this blog, and if you’re not careful, you just might learn something along the way!

I am really jazzed that you are here! How many races do you ride in, in one day? Are there limits to how many you can ride on in one day? What is the largest number of rides you have had in a single week?
