It's been too long since I have blogged but with starting a new job(finally), trying to get some long overdue things around the house done and keeping up with my stable my time has been sapped greatly. My apologies to anybody who actually likes to read my rambles. lol

Haunting ran well winning one race in her tourney and making it into the first ever final tournament race for this stable. Unfortunately in the final it seemed she was ridden by one of those jockeys that cheated on their intelligence test to be able to keep riding after the new AI was installed and she finished last but she did show enough to give her another start.

Well Whirlingly placed 4th in his 1st race and 5th in his second. Not the most spectacular performances but still got him some money. Poor thing needs his trainer to improve to help his chances along. I will be doing some more training with him and hope that his next start he will do a bit better.

Well my little 10k claimer Ferocious dug in and got me my first win last night. He's a good horse and I'm a little sad that he got claimed. He will live on in my game and will always hold special meaning to me though and there are plenty of horses out there to go around. Got a claim in on another I liked the looks of who is running tonight so that stall may not be open long. ;)

Well not quite the performance I was hoping for from my horse this past weekend. He did earn 15k though. He had slower SR's in the tournament races than he ever had in training at that same surface and distance. I'm a little disappointed. Next time we try some different training instructions and maybe a little Lasix?

So, though I have had 2 horses actually run in 3 races total, the race I have coming up tomorrow is the one that's really got me on edge. It is the first one I entered and feel somewhat confident about. With my mentor's great tutelage I have learned a lot and come a long way in such a short time. I still have a lot to learn and a ways to go.
