The new build is finished and would have been released today, but it's Friday. Expect the release either first thing Monday or first thing Tuesday morning. This is more of a technical update. You really won't notice any changes from a functionality standpoint except certain fixes for known issues. You will also notice a video icon on every page.
This upcoming week we will be releasing Version 10.9.05 of Horse Racing Fantasy. This will be the last download version of our game. For most players, no change will be noticed. Most of the modifications are tied to issues that have been out there since the release of 10.9.04. We are going to be releasing a very detailed video help program tying literally into every aspect of the game.
Seeing some nice mentor over ride game point payments lately. Congrats to all those players focused on helping build our community not thrashing it. I wish them and their students future success .
New students are always looking for mentors to help them out.
Our horse Racing Forums have been remove from the site . The forums have slowed down the page load time and has caused our server to run at 125% . We do not want to risk a site crash . The site speed has been great for the last 3 weeks and we do not want anything to interfere with this. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause some of our quality players .
This is just a general update. I glanced today at the forums and am seeing a lot of misdirection, misrepresentation and just typical 'BS'. I also see a lot of good comments and good ideas, which I always appreciate.
Today we launched a new program - a partnership with MID Development. The program is designed to help key horse racing executives at MID (the owners of Santa Anita Racetrack and Gulfstream Park) to hear from horse racing enthusiasts in order to determine the best ways to turn our sport around and get those stands packed again, and at the same time, entice new ownership in thoroughbred racing.
We have begun the transition to the new trainer tournament classification system. If you're not familiar with the changes that are about to occur, I suggest you read my previous blog .
Over the last week, I've had discussions with some 15 trainers on several conference calls and individual calls. We've also spent quite a bit of time internally discussing how we can implement some sort of classification system and still utilize the current tournament stuctures we have. Our trainer game has only been out some 16 months and during that time we have been constantly learning.
After three weeks of data, we implemented today some slight modifications in the Breeders' Cup final handicap weight program. In addition, please read my other post about race conditions and race classifications because the two threads will tie together.
We published our second monster blue restricted tournament today. This event, that starts July 9 is specifically for horses with a birth speed rating of 87 or less. The tournament is named "Everything I Need".
