Horse Racing Fantasy Community

There are a lot of new features on the cusp of being released. We're dealing with new product development, new game features and at the same time, we're implementing our marketing programs. Put it all together and you've got an enormous workload - this in conjunction with the normal daily issues and questions that arise from the community.

I am proud to announce first to our community members that Horse Race Game, through its parent company Horse Racing Simulation LLC, has formed and is continuing to form additional relationships with some of the most powerful and respectable names in the horse racing industry.

It's been a very busy week and we're in the process of porting over a lot of the new technologies we've been working on. As we port over some of the new game features, there will be periods when the server slows down until all the database queries can be optimized. Every time we take a couple of steps forward with technology, we take a half-step back with something else.

We talked about it last month, we hinted that we'll be implementing special awards and bonus programs for all of our virtual top champion horses. The program has been designed and is now being developed. Expected launch date is April 1st. Our community is now large enough to warrant this massive program.

For the last week, we've been evaluating all of the breeding statistical information since the first of the year. We're very satisfied with the number of new horses that are being kept because of all the new tournament options, including insta and restricted tournaments.

For me, it's a nightmare. When I learned two weeks ago that the insta-tournaments were paying out way beyond the mathematical formula set up, I thought I would just take the loss and move on.

Again this week, a lot of backend work was done in preparing for quite a few upgrade roll-outs next week. We plan to roll out a new search feature in the View Upcoming Trainer Tournaments section. This should be available by Tuesday. The new search feature allows you now to search by tournament type.

This was a week that was relatively quiet as far as releasing new features for the game and community, but in actuality, a lot of cool things are happening behind the scenes. Below is just a brief update of where we are on certain new features and game enhancements. If I left something out, it's simply because it is not at the very top of the list.

We're not here for virtual pet horses, and our players are definitely not here because they are adopting virtual horses. Our game players are here because they want to win. Breeding, training and racing in our online game requires luck, but also requires skill and a lot of hard work. In fact, we consider our game one of the best skill-action games on the Web.
