Wow! One week from tomorrow is the biggest race in horse racing and I cannot believe that I'm not only in, but actually on one of the favorites. This has been the craziest three weeks ever, but I absolutely love it.

I've ridden horses in two consecutive Breeders' Cups and for any jockey, that's a great opportunity. But I have to tell you, I am so excited about the 2009 Kentucky Derby. I don't want to jinx myself, but I feel very grateful to be on such a wonderful animal. I Want Revenge is the type of horse that every jockey dreams of riding. There's a lot that can happen between now and the Kentucky Derby and a lot more that can happen during the race, but this horse is surrounded by some great people.

I'm sitting here checking out the new game and loving it. Congratulations to the team! I've found some pretty cool features that both the horse racing enthusiast and the gamer will really appreciate in this new version. I'm listing my favorites. Maybe you can tell me yours.

After a few days back home with the family, I got back into Southern California last night, pumped up and ready for a start of a new racing meet. Don't get me wrong. I love nothing more than being with my family. My mom and dad mean the world to me.

If someone had told me a year ago that Joe Talamo could soon be a walking billboard, I would have laughed. The fact is, I am so dedicated to helping this project succeed, I'm actually proud that starting January 1st I'll be wearing the logo and URL of JockeyPower.com, which is, as Mike calls it, a redirect to our horse race game website.

One of the greatest things about horse racing, both live and when you’re playing it in the game, is the excitement of the sport itself. I love doing my homework and learning everything I can to make sure that I am completely prepared for a race. But I also love having to think on my feet once I’m out on the track. Because I’ve found that for me to be successful, there has to be a balance between the two.
