Belmont Stakes (gr. I) winner Summer Bird, and Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) winner Mine That Bird are targeting the Shadwell Travers (gr. I) later this summer at Saratoga. Both horses, however, are taking different routes to the "Mid-Summer Derby."

BALTIMORE - Rachel Alexandra and Mine That Bird, the first two finishers in a thrilling, historic Preakness Stakes on Saturday here at Pimlico, are headed back to Churchill Downs in the same order, but the order of their next starts may be reversed.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Rachel Alexandra came out of her record-breaking Kentucky Oaks victory on Friday in fine fashion and will remain at Churchill Downs while being pointed to the Grade 1 Acorn Stakes on the June 6 Belmont Stakes undercard, trainer Hal Wiggins said Saturday morning.

Seventh Street bagged her first grade 1 finish today, April 4, in the $500,000 Apple Blossom Handicap at Oaklawn Park. After breaking cleanly from the gate, under jockey Rajiv Maragh, Seventh Street moved to the lead through an opening quarter in 24.18 seconds. They continued to lead through fractions of 48.15 for the half-mile and 1:12.28 for six furlongs.

Favored This Ones for Phil was awarded victory in the $150,000 Swale Stakes (gr. II) when Big Drama was disqualified for interference in the stretch after posting a track record for seven furlongs at Gulfstream Park on March 28.
