This horse race utterly baffles me. The '98 Classic featured a supremely talented field, including Silver Charm, Victory Gallop, and Skip Away. Skip Away was named Horse of the Year after this race. BEFORE READING FURTHER, WATCH THE VIDEO! Take a look:

So, the title is clear enough. This week's Pacific Classic to be held at Del Mar this Sunday will be the VIP race of the week. It was a tough choice with the Travers Stakes in Saratoga, the O'Brien at Del Mar and several other key stake races around the country.
