Founded in 1999 by Gary Darveaux under the business name Clubhouse Enterprises, we published our first horse racing game called Horse Racing Fantasy. This simplistic game programmed in DOS was the start of our humble beginnings.
Horse Racing Simulation LLC is now the largest publisher of horse racing games in the world, distributing horse and horse racing games through the Internet and thousands of retail stores across the United States. We develop a wide variety of products to appeal to a broad audience. From single-player to multi-player games, Horse Racing Simulation offers something for all levels of racing fans.
Our flagship game, Horse Racing Fantasy 3, currently has a member base of over 120,000 players and is distributed from numerous partner websites including the NTRA.com (National Thoroughbred Racing Association), BreedersCup.com, Bloodhorse.com, HollywoodPark.com, AnimalPlanet.com and dozens of other horse racing and game websites.
In 2007, we built our first simulation program called SIM2WIN. The program was featured on BreedersCup.com and successfully predicted the outcome of 7 Breeders’ Cup races. In that same year, we formed partnerships with numerous sports sites including Sports Direct, the largest disseminator of sports gambling information on the Internet.

In 2008, we released the first version of our multi-player horse racing game, which allowed players from all over the world to compete against each other in jockey, betting and trainer tournaments. In 2008, ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ asked us to build a simulation featuring the greatest Kentucky Derby winners from the last 100 years and include the Triple Crown hopeful at that time, Big Brown. The simulation was to determine Big Brown’s potential racing abilities against some of the greatest horses such as Secretariat, War Admiral, and many others. Also that year, the Discovery Network’s Animal Planet partnered with us through a custom racing game application and utilized our racing portal to create awareness and gather feedback for their television series “Jockeys”. HRS also developed a virtual simulation of the Woodbine Mile for Woodbine Entertainment Group which ran on their television network, HPITV, throughout Canada.
In 2009, Horse Racing Simulation opened its technology division with the sole purpose of developing cutting-edge programs to engage, educate and entertain the next generation of horse racing fans. One of those programs was featured at the 2009 Breeders’ Cup Championships that took place at Santa Anita Racetrack in Arcadia, California. Incorporating the true contenders of key Breeders’ Cup races, over 1500 fans participated in our onsite jockey tournaments. Fans raced against each other for cash prizes and trophies while virtually riding their favorite Breeders’ Cup contenders with all their true attributes.
In 2010, Horse Racing Simulation, in conjunction with Cortina Productions, an award-winning media display company, contributed to the ‘Riders Up’ game for Churchill Downs, which is on display at the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, Kentucky. Also in 2010, Horse Racing Simulation, anticipating the release of Disney’s feature film “Secretariat”, developed the official licensed Secretariat Horse Racing Game. Recently, in conjunction with Deluxe Media Studios and Disney Home Entertainment, Horse Racing Simulation built the virtual simulation of Secretariat’s 1973 Preakness victory. Along with providing the actual race simulation, HRS played an important role in the scripting and production of this interactive bonus feature to be distributed on the Disney movie “Secretariat” DVDs and Blu-Ray disks scheduled for release in early-2011.

Also in 2010, HRS began offering consulting services for various horse and horse racing-related organizations to help them better understand social media and how it can be utilized to engage and educate the next generation of racing enthusiasts. In addition, we have developed a virtual simulation program is actually used to forecast the outcome of upcoming major stake races, such as the Kentucky Derby, Breeders’ Cup races, and dozens of other major horse racing events. The same simulation software is also used to create virtual interpretations of races featuring past and current thoroughbred champions together.
Featured on such prominent websites as MSNBC, ESPN, CBS Sportsline, NTRA, Bloodhorse, Breeders’ Cup, Horse Racing Nation, USA Today, NY Times, LA Times, Boston Globe, Animal Planet and many others, we have established ourselves as a leader in developing and deploying cutting-edge strategies for new racing fan acquisitions and educational programs. Focused on utilizing cutting-edge web technologies, Horse Racing Simulation is helping to build the next generation of horse racing fans.
